A role close to the business

In the role of economist at Drillcon, you contribute to ensuring that daily accounting work is carried out with high quality. The goal for the role is to ensure accurate and reliable financial reports while having a strong interest in the functionality of the business system and continuous process efficiency within the area.

This includes working with:

• Ongoing accounting, reconciliations, and work with monthly and annual financial statements.
• Financial reporting, analysis, and preparation of financial reports for management and external stakeholders.
• Development and efficiency of financial processes and support to the organization in accounting issues.
• Superuser responsibility in business systems and work with digital flows for invoices, expenses, and integrations.

For those who want to develop further

Drillcon is looking for someone with post-secondary education in finance and several years of experience in qualified accounting work. Additionally, you have:

• Good knowledge of working in business systems.
• Fluent in Microsoft Office environment.
• Very good knowledge of both Swedish and English in speech and writing.

You are structured, meticulous, and efficient, as well as a team player who supports your colleagues. We also believe that you have an interest in working on improvements within the finance area. It is an advantage if you also have experience with currency-related issues and VAT reporting.

You work with high precision and ensure that the financial reports are correct. You have good analytical skills and work systematically with a good prioritization of your tasks.

You thrive in an independent role where you take initiative and are proactive. You are ambitious and want to develop in your role. Therefore, you work purposefully to be ready to take the next step in the company.
